Radio Arte Administrative Assistant Intern

Function: To aid Radio Arte administration in tasks related to the day-to-day operations. 

Accountable to: Director, Jorge Valdivia and Director of Youth Media Development and Research, Adriana Diaz. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in training program with data entry and research
  • Assists in drafting/maintaining contracts
  • Assists in accounts payable/receivable

Qualifications:

  • An interest in working with youth in media
  • Reliability
  • Familiarity with public media
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in youth development
  • Ability to commit one eight hour per week for no less than 10 weeks. 

This position is open to fourth year students and individuals with completed Bachelors degrees in one of the following disciplines: media management, broadcast journalism, or research analyst.  This is an unpaid position and preferences are given to students who are working towards a letter grade.  Generally, there is only one internship available per quarter/semester.
