1st Annual Chicago Mariachi and Folklorico Festival

Enjoy FREE admission, music, and dancing! Bring the family and have a picnic! Food and beverages are allowed at the event and parking is available in the Millennium Park garages.
Presented by the Mariachi Heritage Foundation (MHF), the National Museum of Mexican Art and the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

Headliners include the world-renowned Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández, Mariachi Aztlán University of Texas-Pan American, Mariachi Monumental de México, Academy of Mexican Dance and Music, Mexican Dance Ensemble and The Mexican Folkloric Dance Company of Chicago.

The Festival also features a student mariachi showcase performance from MHF schools including, Calmeca, Davis, Edwards, Hurley, Gary and UNO Soccer Academy. The official schedule for the 1st Annual Chicago Mariachi & Folklorico Festival is now available!

The Festival will take place on Sunday, June 28th. Performances at the Cloud Gate (located by the Millennium Park Bean) will begin at 1:00 p.m., and performances at the Jay Pritzer Pavilion Stage will begin at 3:00 p.m. Please click here to RSVP for the event
