23rd Annual Día del Niño

Bring the whole family to the National Museum of Mexican Art on Saturday, May 18th for the 23rd Annual Día del Niño! We’re dedicating the day to our children and sharing ideas to keep them healthy and happy.

Join us for an exciting day of fun and interactive activities that include:

  • Hands-on art projects
  • Fitness Activities
  • Free health screenings
  • Live performances

Did you know?
Día del Niño is an annual celebration that was created in Mexico in 1925 as a day to honor children. In Mexico, Día del Niño is celebrated on April 30th when children spend the day playing games, having fun, and eating their favorite foods.

School Groups
If you are a school group and would like to know more about reserving free bus transportation to the health walk, please contact Mario@NationalMuseumofMexicanArt.org or 312.433.3950. Groups must be scheduled by Monday, April 22, 2019. The availability of buses is limited and will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.
