Concert: Aida Cuevas and Mariachi Reyna de los Angeles

Saturday November 14, 7:30 pm at the Auditorium Theater, 50 E Congress Pkwy, Chicago, IL 60605

Aida Cuevas and Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles return to Chicago for another mariachi concert extravaganza! Last year, Cuevas and Mariachi Reyna made history with a sold out performance at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University. Concert proceeds support standards-based mariachi music programs in Chicago schools. Presented by the Mariachi Heritage Foundation and the National Museum of Mexican Art.

Grammy winner, Aida Cuevas is Mexico's most important female voice celebrating a long lasting career of 39 years, leaving a remarkable imprint in the history of Mexican music. Today's highest example of female mariachi performance, Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles bring sensitivity, beauty, warmth and a vivacious spirit to the art of mariachi.
