The National Museum of Mexican Art is celebrating its 30th Birthday and we’re throwing a pachanga at the museum! Join us for a fun-filled evening with music, snacks, drinks and much more as we look back on 30 years of museum milestones.

Thirty years ago, when the National Museum of Mexican Art opened its doors, it aimed to fill a void in Chicago: the lack of a place to present Mexican art and history and to celebrate the culture so vital to the Pilsen neighborhood, Chicago's Mexican community, and the city at large.

NMMA remains dedicated to presenting programs and exhibitions sin fronteras (without borders); we believe in the arts as a bridge between communities and a tool that expands minds and breaks down barriers.

As a part of our 30th Birthday, we’re kicking off 30 Days of Giving. Support the museum with a donation today. Together we can ensure that the National Museum of Mexican Art will continue to be a source of cultural pride for another 30 years and beyond.
