Have you ever felt the need to change your family for a new one? Do you think your family has strange and eccentric habits? Do you envy other’s families? Through a fun and exciting monologue, a little boy speaks to us about how different his family is from everyone else’s. For this reason he decides to leave home to find a perfect family. Will he find it?

Alguna vez has sentido la necesidad de cambiar a tu familia por otra? Crees que tu familia tiene hábitos muy raros y extravagantes? Envidias las familias de los demás? A través de un divertido monologo, un chico nos platica que su familia es muy diferente a las demás. Por ello, decide huir de casa para buscar a la familia perfecta. La encontrara?

Familias Familiares is part of the Sor Juana Festival, whichserves to honor one of Mexico’s greatest writers, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, as well as to celebrate and showcase the rich artistic accomplishments of Mexican women from Mexico and the United States. The Festival also honors Mexican women leaders as a testimony to the enduring spirit of Sor Juana.
