Reception for 40 años a la esperanza exhibition

The National Museum of Mexican Art is pleased to invite you to a celebratory reception for the exhibition 40 años a la esperanza. Join us and commemorate the 1979 mural, A la esperanza designed and painted at Benito Juárez High School 40 years ago.

This remarkable exhibition recognizes the efforts made by local mothers, students and community organizers that fought to establish Benito Juárez Community Academy in 1977. A la esperanza is a time traveling reflection of hope and transformation for Mexican Chicago. We look forward to seeing you and sharing this momentous occasion.
