SOLD OUT: WBEZ’s Podcast Passport Presents Latino USA

WBEZ’s Podcast Passport Presents Latino USA, in partnership with the National Museum of Mexican Art’s Sor Juana Festival and Vocalo 91.1 FM. Join us for a live performance of LATINO USA with host Maria Hinojosa. The event will feature a live multimedia performance of Frida Barbie performed on stage by producer Antonia Cereijido and a candid interview with a leading Chicago figure.

Now in its 26th year, Latino USA offers insight into the lived experiences of Latino communities and is a window on the current and merging cultural, political and social ideas impacting Latinos and the nation. The show is a nationally syndicated public radio program produced by The Futuro Media Group and distributed nationwide by NPR.

The evening's performance will be followed by a meet and greet with Maria Hinojosa and a performance by a Chicago DJ.

The Sor Juana Festival serves to honor one of Mexico’s greatest writers, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, as well as to celebrate and showcase the rich artistic accomplishments of Mexican women from Mexico and the United States.
