Annual Gala de Arte

Save the Date!

Mark your calendar and join us at the National Museum of Mexican Art’s premier fundraising event, the Gala de Arte on Friday, May 8th, 2020 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago.

Every year, the National Museum of Mexican Art’s Gala de Arte is critical in generating funding that ensures our city continues to boast a world-class museum – one of the most significant Mexican art museums in the U.S., and the only AAM accredited museum dedicated to Mexican Art. The Museum has presented over 150 exhibitions over the last 30 years, provides arts education to over 52,000 students annually, and over 150,000 visitors come through our doors each year.

The Gala de Arte will be an incomparable black-tie evening; along with mixing and mingling with your fellow supporters, you’ll be treated to fantastic cuisine, live music, and dancing. What’s more, the Museum’s Arthur R. Velasquez Award will be presented to the incomparable Adela Cepeda for her significant contributions in leadership for the Latino community and the city of Chicago. We promise you a memorable evening that won’t disappoint!
