Pedro Mi Amor

Elena Durán, La flauta que canta (the singing flute) presents

With Santiago Piñeirua, Piano

Join us on April 26th and 27th for a program featuring some of Pedro Infante’s best loved songs with clips from his iconic movies.

Of all the stars of the great “Golden Age” of Mexican cinema, Pedro Infante still shines as the brightest. Beloved of generations of Latinos - and many “Gringos” too - Pedro’s image is as bright as ever in this, his centenary year. Elena Durán, who, as a very young girl in Oakland, first saw the movies with her grandmother introduces these timeless songs which she has arranged for flute. Each song is accompanied by a clip from Pedro’s iconic movies. The music, the movies and Elena’s performance with Santiago make for an unforgettable evening.

Online ticket sales will close at 4pm on each performance date. For tickets, please call the front desk: 312-738-1503 or purchase tickets at the door.
