Judithe E. Hernández is an artist and muralist. At Otis Art Institute, where she met Carlos Almaraz, she studied under Chicago artist Charles White. As the only woman in the group, she joined Los Four, the Chicano artist collective. She is an integral leader in the Chicano/a Art movement, and is known for artworks that explore a socio-political outlook of gender roles. The NMMA hosted her solo exhibition La Vida Sobre Papel in 2011 and honored her with a Sor Juana Legacy Award in 2018.
