The National Museum of Mexican Art proudly presents The Selena Tribute Concert. Join us for Chicago’s biggest tribute celebrating the legendary and beloved Tex Mex queen of cumbia: Selena Quintanilla. This year marks 30 years since the world lost Selena Quintanilla, yet her voice, style, and spirit continue to inspire generations. Set against the stunning Chicago skyline, at the beautiful Jay Pritzker Pavilion, the evening features a dynamic lineup of young, local, and national artists carrying Selena’s legacy forward with fresh energy and heartfelt performances.
This year’s lineup features:
Delilah
Delilah is a rising bilingual singer-songwriter from Wenatchee, WA, with roots in Guanajuato, Mexico. Entirely self-taught, she blends indie, Latin pop, and corridos tumbados, and has performed at major festivals like Sueños, Summerfest, and Baja Beach Fest. A Spotify RADAR artist and Interscope signee, she’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting new Latin voices.
Angelina Victoria
Angelina Victoria Angulo is a versatile singer, actress, and model who performs in five languages across genres from opera to Latin pop. She was signed to Warner Music Mexico and released her debut single Todo Cambió in 2024 after graduating from Columbia College in Vocal Performance. She has shared the stage with Grupo Firme, Carin León, and Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
Isabel Marie Sanchez
Isabel Marie Sanchez is a Chicago-born actress and recording artist known for her powerful voice. She signed at twelve, released four albums, and toured the U.S. and Mexico. She gained national recognition on La Voz Kids and Sábado Gigante and has performed for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, the National LULAC Convention, and the Tejano Music Awards. Her 2022 album Una Ilusión earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Tejano Album.
Vanita Leo
At 22, Vanita Leo brings pop-forward cumbia to a new generation while honoring her Mexican-American and Texan roots. She grew up making music with her father, a former Interscope artist, and now performs across Texas. She has opened for Ramon Ayala, Daniel, Me Estás Matando, and Ramona.
Jocey
South Side Chicago native Jocey is a singer, actor, and writer known for her heartfelt performances. A Vision Latino Theater Company and Musicality Vocal member, she recently premiered her one-woman musical Jocey y las Mariachis at the Destinos Theater Festival. Her debut single reflects her lifelong love of singing and storytelling.
Areal la Dramática
Areal la Dramática is a Texas-born Chicana DJ who blends old-school and contemporary styles in her sets. From classic car shows to stadium crowds, she creates inclusive spaces that celebrate the past, present, and future of music. Her performances center women supporting women and community connection.
Mariachi Ameca
Founded in 1991 by Jaime Cervantes, Mariachi Ameca is a multi-generational ensemble combining formal training with tradition. They have performed at Lollapalooza, on television, and in national campaigns, sharing the spirit of mariachi with diverse audiences.
