Chaz Bojórquez is a cholo-style graffiti writer, stencil-artist, and painter. Inspired by Mexican muralism and the visual cultural production that surrounded him in Los Angeles, Bojórquez began to write graffiti in the late 1970’s. He is best known for his influence and participation in the international Street Art movement. His work and legacy were celebrated at the 2012 exhibition, Chaz Bojórquez: From the Streets To The Cloud at the NMMA.
