A Familiar Place 1977-1989: To Soak, Absorve, Imbibe

Most of this exhibit came from a mature body of work called “A Subconscious Effort to Remain Intact: comprised of 27 paintings and drawings. “A Familiar Place is a metaphysical space where one is stuck for a period of time due to circumstances and is forced to develop or refine an activity or process to free oneself physically, spiritually or emotionally,” This work comes from such a period.’
