The National Museum of Mexican Art invites you to a presentation of the newly released book Rene Arceo: Works/Obras 2010-2021. Join Associate Curator, Dolores Mercado and Arceo as they dive into the artist’s body of work from the last 10 years. Selected by Mercado, the artwork in the book reflects a visual memory of the artist’s heritage and identity.

This new book expands the knowledge of Arceo’s recent body of work through three essays by Art Historian, Graciela Kartofel; Painter and Art Professor Jose Agustin; and Curator and Artist Dolores Mercado, whose essay is entitled Between Myth, Magic and Rite.

The book will be available for purchase in the Museum’s Tzintzuntzan Gift Shop.

This event is free and open to the public.
