Camino al Mictlan

This photographic exhibition documents the recent (1994-1997) excavation and restoration that took place at Mexico City’s Museo del Templo Mayor. The Museum is built on the site of the ancient Aztec Main Temple, in the heart of their capital, Tenochtitlan. It is presently within a few meters northeast of the Zócalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace.
