Within present concerns on cultural diversity issues, the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum inaugurated its fifth annual Day of the Dead exhibit, contributing to the conscious and active process of redeeming and reclaiming our past in ways that transform present reality. Here our celebrations may be different in form to those in Mexico, but the spirit of the tradition lives on. Participation in these re-contextualized rituals enables us to recognize that the cycle of life and death is at the core of human experience, binding all people together.
