Donation Drive : for Recent Arrivals

The National Museum of Mexican Art’s Auxiliary Board in partnership with Onward House is hosting a donation drive to support recent arrivals. Onward House serves over 2,000 new arrivals annually through their Welcoming Center for Immigrants and Refugees. Chicago has seen thousands of recent migrants who are seeking a better life for their families and in the spirit of uplifting our communities, we ask for donations of new and gently used items to be distributed to those in need.
The Museum will be collecting the following new items:
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Vicks
- Hairbrushes
- Soap bars
- Baby shampoo
- Baby powder
- Foot powder
- Feminine and adult wipes
- Feminine pads size L
- Deodorant for men and women
- Baby wipes
- Diapers sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Emergency kits
We will also accept new or gently used:
- Jackets
- Hats
- Strollers
