Images of Faith: Religious Art of Mexico 18th & 19th Century

March 27 – May 13, 1987

This inaugural exhibition of the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum in the Pilsen neighborhood featured religious art of Mexico from the 18th and 19th Centuries. The rich, traditional and artistic expressions of faith and beliefs of the Mexican People were presented in the culmination of work by many anonymous artists.
