La Vida Sobre Papel

January 21 – May 1, 2011

Through the female figure, Judithe Hernández (b.1948) explores the themes of violence and femicide while making references to love, seduction and Mexican popular culture. Since the late 1960s, she has been fundamental in the Chicano art movement, and was the only woman in the influential collective Los Four.
