Choose Your Adventure!
This month, we’re excited to offer two wonderful experiences! Join us for a free guided tour of ¡TINTA ARDIENTE! Igniting Community Through Collective Action. Co-curators Marcela Andrade Serment and Elisa Soto Sánchez will lead visitors on an in-depth look at the exhibition, which celebrates the rich history of printmaking. Register here for the tour.
We’re also hosting a hands-on tamal-making workshop to get you in the holiday spirit! In partnership with acclaimed Chef Generoso “Geno” Bahena of Manchamanteles restaurant, guests will learn how to prepare tamales step by step, from ingredients to filling; you’ll leave ready to make your own. The workshop will also include drinks, a guided tour of our exhibition Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection, and a mini art activity while your tamales finish cooking. Tickets for the Tamal-making workshop cost $60, and advance registration is required. A vegetarian option is available.
