A one-person exhibition of artist & muralist Gabriel Villa (b.1965) will be on display in the, Kraft Gallery. Born in El Paso, Texas and raised along the Ciudad Juárez borderland; Villa now lives and works in Chicago. Many of his images and icons reference his memories of life along the border, and/or of newfound issues in the Midwest, such as ever-present poverty, or the politics of empowerment.
