Families with children are welcome to join us to hear "The Journey of Tunuri and the Blue Deer" by James Endredy read aloud in the galleries. Recommended for ages 6 – 9, this tale is rooted in Huichol tradition, which we will connect to the work "The New Awakening", made by the Huichol community and currently on view in our Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection exhibition.
