Families, join us for Storytime in the Galleries! This month we’re reading “Amor de pelo” by Matthew A. Cherry. We will connect the themes in this Spanish book to the artwork “Sound of the Artesa” by Aydeé Rodríguez López in the Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection exhibition. Participants will take home an art kit related to the content discussed. This program is open to families with children ages 4 – 8 years old. Admission is free but registration is required, email angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org to register.
