Families, join us for Storytime in the Galleries! This month we’re reading “Frida Kahlo and Her Animalitos” by Monica Brown. We will connect the themes in this book to the artwork “Heritage” by Alfredo Arreguín in the Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection exhibition. Participants will take home an art kit related to the content discussed. This program is open to families with children ages 4 – 8 years old. Admission is free but registration is required, email angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org to register.
