Each episode offers a unique style of music giving audiences the opportunity to discover new artists and genres while being immersed in a museum space. This week’s episode features DJs Yukiko and Pen Pals.
DJ Yukiko was born and raised in Japan and has been DJing since 2010. Yukiko has been digging for all sorts of exotic records for 30 years and has played at numerous music festivals, bars, clubs, and art foundations, following the spirits in her record crate. Yukiko is dedicated to creating a cultural and spiritual sanctuary on the dance floor and believes her records can take her anywhere. Pen Pals is a DJ who lives to combine energy-forward records from around the globe to bring the dance floor together. Since arriving in Chicago via his homeland of Scotland, no record store has been safe. Expect deep cuts, eclectic edits and buoyant bangers.
