NMMA Teacher Professional Development: Identity Sculptures

Explore how to integrate Mexican art into your curriculum. Teachers will gain inspiration from our ongoing exhibition, Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection, and build confidence to bring art-making activities into the classroom. Participants will receive a guided tour and walk away with strategies to integrate art into their existing curriculum at any grade level, along with a classroom guide to create a hands-on identity sculpture inspired by artist Josefina Aguilar.
Educators will earn 3 CPDUs in this professional development opportunity. Registration is required. Space is limited. $50 per participant. Supplies included.
