Palestinian Embroidery & Cross Stitch workshop

Join Yollocalli Arts Reach & Jenin's Tatreez for a Palestinian Embroidery/Cross Stitch workshop. We will learn the history of Palestinian tatreez and practice the art form. The three hour workshop includes a half hour presentation about the history and significance of Palestinian tatreez, two hours of instruction and discussions about our emotions as we practice this historically preserved art form, and the last half hour for attendees to browse and purchase the tatreez books, kits, and answer any questions. Light refreshments and pan dulce will be provided.
