In October of 1995, Chicago based photographer Alvaro Nieto returned to his home-town of Tarimoro, Guanajuato to participate and document an important annual tradition. Mr. Nieto joined the men of Tarimoro on a ten day walk to the Basilica of the Virgen de Guadalupe in Mexico City.
