Juvenile Justice Advocates International and the National Museum of Mexican Art present Reflejos de Dignidad or Reflections of Dignity, an exhibition of self-portraits by youth incarcerated in Mexico, for one night only. The voice of youth is seldom heard, and the voice of youth experiencing incarceration is heard even less. Join us on Monday, October 28th from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm for this cocktail reception as we reveal the self-portraits combining descriptive and narrative imagery created by youth under the instruction of NMMA Lead Art Educator Gilberto Sandoval.
