The National Museum of Mexican Art proudly presents The Selena Tribute Concert. Join us at the beautiful Jay Pritzker Pavilion for Chicago’s biggest tribute celebrating the legendary and beloved Tex Mex queen of cumbia: Selena Quintanilla. Invite your friends, bring a picnic, and get ready to sing your hearts out to your favorite Selena songs at this FREE concert.
The Selena Tribute Concert features an amazing lineup of performers:
- Angelina Victoria a singer and songwriter from Chicago, is a rising star known for her versatility. The young musician performs a little bit of everything from regional Mexican to pop ballads and her renditions of Selena’s classic hits are not to be missed!
- Irene Diaz is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and solo artist from Highland Park, CA. Diaz has confidently carved out her own space in the music industry, while displaying emotion in her voice and lyrics this is undeniably robust.
- Mariachi Sirenas shines a light on Chicago’s local talent with an all-woman group known for performing their popular folkloric style of music. Don’t miss their beautiful expression of Selena songs!
- La Rosa Noir, Chicago’s own alternative rock band brings a new side to Selena’s classic songs. Fronted by Yeshi Regalado, the band is all emotion and pure heart, offering the audience their unique influences of surf rock and 90s post punk.
- Roxyo Sounds DJs the evening with her eclectic selections of Latin sounds on vinyl.
- Plus, B96 radio personality Karla Hernandez hosts the concert with her signature passionate energy for celebrating Mexican culture.
Parking Details:
Discounted parking for the tribute concert is available at a rate of $14 at Millennium Park Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage. Both are accessible at 5 S. Columbus Dr. and are located next to each other. Both pedestrian exits let out on East Randolph at Columbus. Buy discounted parking here.
