Children ages 7-12 are invited to take over the art studio from 10:00 – 11:30 am for a hands-on printmaking workshop with artists from the Instituto Gráfico de Chicago (IGC). First, we will spend time in their exhibition ¡TINTA ARDIENTE!, for inspiration. We will talk about the importance of printmaking, then each participant will create their own block prints using foam shapes.
$10 registration fee includes all materials needed. Email angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org to register, space is limited.
