Studio Saturdays :  Pet Portraits

Young people ages 7 – 12 are invited to join us for Studio Saturdays: Pet Portraits. Inspired by Frida Kahlo's portraits that feature her pet companions like monkeys, birds, and dogs; participants will paint a portrait inspired by their four-legged friends. Using a photo of their pets, young people will capture their likeness as they learn painting tips and tricks like basic color mixing, brush techniques, and visual resources to reference. Participants will be amazed as they see their paintings come to life! $20 registration fee includes all materials needed.
