The Art of the Other Mexico: Sources and Meanings

June 18 – September 12, 1993 Main Gallery

This exhibition was organized by the Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum and included the works of twenty contemporary Mexican artists from across the U.S. Over seventy new and recent works of art focusing on the themes of family, land, and afterlife. This milestone exhibit was dedicated to the humanitarian and champion of civil rights, César Chávez.
