The National Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Mather presents Viva la Vida, a monthly workshop series tailored for creative agers. Adults ages 55 and better are invited to join us at the Museum for an art making activity followed by a slow looking exercise in the galleries. This month we will learn how to bind our own books, which we will then use inside our Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection exhibition, where we will spend time analyzing artwork and sketching in them.
Coffee and treats will be provided from local establishments. This program is free, but registration is required. To sign up, email angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org
