Viva la Vida: Mini Murals
Adults ages 55+ are invited to join us for an immersive experience in the galleries, followed by an art-making activity. This month, we will highlight our Rubin & PaulaTorres Gallery exhibition Hay cultura en nuestra comunidad: Ray Patlán in Chicago 1968–1975. In this workshop, we will create our own mini murals, inspired by political and social activism. These mini murals will be made using a grid transfer method.
Coffee and treats will be provided from local establishments. This program is free, but registration is required. If you have any questions, please contact angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org.
