Viva la Vida: Stories Behind the Landscapes

The National Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Mather presents Viva la Vida, a monthly workshop series tailored for creative agers. Adults ages 55 and better and invited to join us at the Museum for an immersive experience in the galleries followed by an art making activity. During this month’s session we will highlight Arte Diseño Xicágo II: From the World's Fair to Present Day, then create landscape artworks with pastels. This workshop will also feature a creative writing exercise. We encourage all participants to bring a photo of a landscape that's important to them!
