The National Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Mather presents Viva la Vida, a monthly workshop series tailored for creative agers. Adults ages 55 and up are invited to join us at the Museum on March 21st from 1-3 pm for an immersive experience in the galleries followed by an art making activity.

We will highlight Nuestras Historias: Stories of Mexican Identity from the Permanent Collection, then create artworks using wax string sticks, drawing inspiration from Huichol yarn paintings.

Coffee and treats will be provided from local establishments. This program is free, but registration is required. To sign up, email angela@nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org.
