Watch with us as Ruidosa Art Collective launches El Barrio’s Amor Y Pasion: Latina Frontwomen of Chicago, their first set of filmed interviews spotlighting six Latina artists and their respective mediums. This episode, filmed in front of a live audience, premieres on Youtube as part of NMMA’s annual Sor Juana Festival. In celebration of National Women’s Month, the collective embraces the amor y pasion they have for their craft and community.
This first episode of El Barrio’s Amor Y Pasion spotlights the leading women of local Chicago bands who have made an impact with their craft. Six Latin American female vocalists come together to discuss their unique experiences in music and what it means to be a frontwoman within the music genre of their choice.
